Few things offer me the same visual satisfaction as walking through the Tuileries Gardens on a cold, grey winter morning with the only warmth coming from the pops of color eminating from the fashionistas on parade. Ok, I know that sounds awfully pretentious but if you can relate at all to the rush you feel walking into Barneys and taking that first deep breath, inhaling the smell of Italian leather mixed with French perfume, well, multiply that by 100 and you have me in Paris during Fashion week - happy as a pig in poop.
So being that it's my fave Fashion Week, I've split it into 2 parts - A-L and M-Z.
Here's Part I:
Azzaro Ah, to be about 10 years younger. So my vibe! |
Azzaro It this not the sweetest little coat you've ever seen? |
Celine Love the colorblocked leather and tweed pant. |
Celine One of my favorite pieces - a colorblocked mink "maxi" vest! |
Celine Orange seemed to dominate the runways of multiple shows. |
Celine More colorblocking from Celine. |
Christian Dior Breeches with a fur coat? Absolutely! |
Christian Dior A bit of bohemian flamenco vibe going on. |
Christian Dior The prettiest mix of prints and colors. |
Christian Dior Ruffles done in the most sophisticated manner. |
Cacharel Love this monochromatic look in cream. |
Jean-Paul Gaultier Leather, cashmere and fur in one coat? Unlikely combo but so harmonious here. |
Jean-Paul Gaultier The chocolate, camel and gold perfection. |
Jean-Paul Gaultier OK, I REALLY need this mink lined shopping trolley! |
Jean-Paul Gaultier These geometric prints have me in a twist - LOVE! |
Jean-Paul Gaultier Covered from neck to toe but still so sexy. |
Haider Ackermann The flounced leather peplum of the skirt is killing me! |
Haider Ackermann Shades of green draped to perfection. |
Haider Ackermann Love the mix of metallic with this taupey mauve emsemble. |
Haider Ackermann Leather was EVERYHWERE this season. Good time to invest! |
Lanvin Lanvin and Rick Owens did the best capes this season. |
