I See Paris M-Z

Part II of Paris Fashion Week. OK, I know I left out some key designers from the A-L post but they must not have gotten my memo about posting in alphabetical order because they didn't present their collections until the end of the week. With that said, I'm including Hermes, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen in today's post (not because I'm having a senior moment).
This time I'll post my favorite collection first (this is not to mean that the rest are listed in diminishing favor). I am soooo loving Martin Grant right now...

Martin Grant
Orange is a tour de force this season.

Martin Grant
Why is this wrap dress SO much better than all the rest?

Martin Grant
I usually hate turtleneck dresses but this is so fresh!

Martin Grant
Brilliant colorblocking!

Martin Grant
One of my favorite dresses of the season.

Maison Martin Margiela
It's really about the boots in this picture. Invisible boots? OMG!

Maison Martin Margiela
Maxi + Sweatshirt + Leather Opera Gloves = PERFECTION

Maison Martin Margiela
Again, the boots are to die for. Fishnet over leather!

Stella McCartney
Brilliant draping aided by the trompe l'oeil fabric.

Stella McCartney
Way too sexy for me, but I'd so love to see this dress on a PYT in NYC.

Alexander McQueen
White feathers and zippers and pleats, Oh my!

Alexander McQueen
My favorite look from the show + the boots are TDF.

Alexander McQueen
The spirit of McQueen lives on...

Vionnet
The textures and metallic lace a deadly combination.

Vionnet
Studio 54 days - not that I'm old enough to remember...

Vionnet
Can't tell if I'm loving the dress or the image - or both.

Vanessa Bruno
Easy layers at Vanessa Bruno.

Vanessa Bruno
This brocade coat would be so easy to throw on every day.

Vanessa Bruno
Her accessories were exceptional - this tote is a prime example.

John Galliano
Reminiscent of the last Dior Couture Collection.

John Galliano
Ethereal beauty.

John Galliano
Nobody does a '30s bias cut dress like Galliano.

Hermes
Monochromatic cashmere kaftan outfit? Luxury redefined.

Hermes
All these maxi vests - I think I like it!

Hermes
Leather pantaboots - insane!!!

Miu Miu
Pretty printed day dress - another shade of orange, of course.

Miu Miu
Gigantic clutches at Miu Miu including this mink number!

Miu Miu
An unexpected pop of navy on an otherwise classic outfit.

Miu Miu
What IS it? A mink belt, hip cumberbund? What ever it is, I want one!
Roland Mouret
Play on textures is superb.

Roland Mouret
We know he does the best pencil dress, but his take on the shirtdress has me breathless.

Roland Mouret
I love evening dresses with sleeves. Am I the only girl that FREEZES at night?

Neil Barrett
The color and shape of this jacket is so modern. Love the long line.

Neil Barrett
Adore the 2 stripes mixed with the plaid.
Nina Ricci
Inspired by Georgia O'Keefe?

Nina Ricci
Just a peek of tulle gives this a playful yet elegant feel.

Nina Ricci
I'm a sucker for huge oversized sweaters over anything resembling a nightgown.

Zac Posen
The degrade bead work gives this dress another dimension.

Zac Posen
Posen doing what he does best. Wish I'd seen this on the Red Carpet.

Rick Owens
One of the best capes of the season.

Rick Owens
I want a pair of wings too!!!

Rick Owens
I think this was my favorite Rick Owens show - ever!

Rick Owens
A mink snood? In taupe?! God help me...

Rochas
The perfect way to wear animal print after 35 - without screaming, "Cougar!"

Rochas
What a fresh color for Fall. Perhaps back to olive?

Valentino
This is so my style. Not only as an outfit, they are wonderful separates.

Valentino
So simple, but so easy to wear over and over again.

Valentino
Laser cut lace with organza sleeves. Truly a collectors piece.

Valentino
Pretty straight forward maxi that can be worn a variety of way.

Valentino
Lace and ruffles - trademark Valentino.

Yves St. Laurent
What I would wear for a second marriage.

Yves St. Laurent
Pure Decadence

Louis Vuitton
I think this image sums up the whole show - well, actually, the whole month.
Oh, and the boots? The must-have wait list shoe of the season - no doubt.
